There are several reasons why I don't like Amazon, but one of the biggest ones is the mistreatment of the employees. Being one of the most valued companies in the world, the way they mistreat employees is some what like that of Wal-Mart. I know it is a "first world" issue, but when compared to the treatment of employees in other businesses in the United States, I wonder why I don't do business with Amazon. Another reason why I don't do business with Amazon is the "global" empire effect. I rather give my money over to another company that isn't associated with Amazon. Sure there are a lot of business that sell their stuff on Amazon, but if they sell it on their own website, I rather deal with their website directly than Amazon. Plus, Amazon "Drivers" (known as business owners according to Amazon and technically they are) are becoming known as risk takers on the road. Meaning, they drive too fast and are always in a hurry, because of the pressure of making the razor thin deadlines. I rather wait around for my package if that means they are not in a hurry. Sure, get the package to me as soon as possible but don't risk your life and more importantly the lives of others, in the process. Just slow down. The final reason why I don't like Amazon is Jeff Bazo himself. I don't like him because he has this "elitist" attitude. Now, I'm not saying that Amazon needs to "legally" go away. Sure, I don't like Amazon for the reasons above but I will respect their right to exist as any other business or organization.
