I'm so glad that I checked out of politics and that it may actually be for the better if Christians just dump politics all together and just say, yea, I trust in Jesus alone, I don't trust politicians or people in power, I trust in Jesus Alone for everything. This is what I'm advocating from here on out.
I know a bunch of other Christians disagree and thinks that it really does matters whether or not we need to get political. If you really believe that you need to vote because of your consequence fine, vote. But those who are on the fence on the issue of getting political or going out to vote, should just not participate in politics or political discussion. Or if they want to discuss politics, just say, "politics is just a favorite color of mine." Meaning I really don't care about politics, sure I like a particular color but I'm not going out of my way to make sure everyone likes my favorite color. Sure, I have Volutnaryist tendencies but at the end of the day, it is just my favorite color. I try to put Jesus above everything in my life. This might be a more of a witness opportunity especially those who are political and are not of Christ. I was approached by some people who were in the political grind and trying to get people to vote and I basically said (the short version), I trust in Jesus Alone not politicians or men. And they knew that I was a Christian from there on out and never spoke to me again, but at least I shared the Gospel and that people need to here the Gospel. Or if you do plan to vote, say, I trust in Jesus above all things even if we get the wrong guy in office, Jesus will take care of His followers. That would be also be a good witness, I think it would be a more of a shock value to say I do not vote because I trust in Jesus alone. Depending on the person who is receiving it. But it also may be that one can get into a political discussion with someone who is on the same side and towards the end of the conversation point out that no matter what happens I put my faith and trust in Jesus alone. I'm more about people pointing and sharing the Gospel than anything else. (I know I'm a week behind but whatever)

This Podcast is Outline Based not Word for Word Based, I'm slowly going over to thought based not word based in terms of podcasting. Topics: - Ex-Christians - Christian Flirting - Photography - Voluntaryism as a favorite color - Issues with the Podcasting Industry - Favorite Podcasts, Jim Jesus & Radical Personal Finance - Needs vs Wants - Social Media Sucks Trusting in Jesus in all area of life makes life so much easier. Why? At the end of the day if one has Jesus then they don't have to worry about anything. Sure, I tend to over pressure myself at times, like my expectations of myself with the podcast then giving up to quickly and flip flopping on the issue, but at least I flip flopped on my terms and it only really affected me and not anyone else. But trusting in Jesus is so much better than trying to figure out what philosophy is the best and trying to figure out how to navigate life and having to struggle with being something plus being a Christian (aka Jesus Freak). I plan on not doing mental gymnastics in terms of having trying to fit my view or mans view into the Bible. It is a lot simpler to just trust in Jesus Alone and yes having a Reformed minded faith in my opinion would make one's faith a lot stronger, but having simple faith in Jesus is a lot easier. Sure it may seem to be lazy on my part but it is overall the better outcome. That is what I have today in blog form, thanks for reading!

Yes, it is scripted but I rather have it scripted than edit it. This is for the most part what I said, of course there are a few places I went off script but it is not perfect but who is? Show Notes: Intro: Hello, this is Terence of TSKJesusFreak.com, this will be a weekly podcast, posted every Friday. How long this podcast is going to be, don't know. For now, what I have down is what I have down. The aim is an hour. But that is if I can get an hour's worth of content on stuff that I want to talk about. Since, politics is kind of out of the question, this kind of makes it difficult for me to have consent content that I would like to talk about, but here we go. First topic of the day: Birth Rates in America. The birth rates have fallen over the past few years. And this is a growing trend for most of westernized countries. One of the only countries that has a high population that has a growing problem is India. In terms of Japan and South Korea, they have horrible birth rates. It is going to cause major problems in about 20 to 30 years from now. Even in the United States, it was the norm to have a good six kids or so. Now, having two kids is enough. I say, especially if you are a Jesus Freak couple that has the ability to have kids, have them and seek to have a whole bunch of them. We are the wealthiest country on earth and not having kids because of money is no excuse. Sure, it is costly to have kids, but I would like to see a bunch of Jesus Freak families producing Jesus Freaks. We need more Jesus Freaks. Yes, I'm using the term Jesus Freaks because using the term Christians is too vague and is almost meaningless. I'm talking about people who live for Jesus, and can be known as Jesus Freaks for following Jesus. The term Jesus Freaks steams from the 70s and 80s with the Jesus movement as a slang term, the 90s song Jesus Freak by DC Talk, got popular among Christians in the United Stats. I try to be all about Jesus, especially with this podcast. Sure, one might be called to be a lone wolf for Jesus but most followers of Jesus want to get married and have a family. The whole point for starting a Jesus Freak Family is Glorify Jesus in all areas of life. This includes me as well. I have to share the Gospel. Over the next couple of months, I plan to have over a few non-believers over to my apartment with a couple of trusted Jesus Freaks with me and have a meal together. That is what I'm seeking to do, at the time I'm spending at my apartment. I'm not wasting my time at this apartment where Jesus placed me. If you have a family, it is wise to make sure that your kids would eventually become Jesus Freaks, make sure that you are in consistent prayer for your kids. Because they need to be Jesus Freaks because if they are not Jesus Freaks, they will go to hell. It is that simple. You live of Jesus, or you live for Satan. Do you want your kids to go to hell? Sure some will fall away but it the Jesus Freak family should be really intentional in how they are living for Jesus, especially the husband and wife. Now, the term Jesus Freak can also be, an authentic follower of Jesus or a Biblical Christian, or something along the lines of being a True Believer. The reason why I have chosen to use the term Jesus Freak, is because I want people to know that I'm a follower of Jesus. Sure I get some flak from other Christians not knowing what the term Jesus Freak is. It is like the term Christian back in the Roman Empire days, Christian was a slang term for those who follow Jesus. It is a slang term for being a follower of Jesus, so I took it and others took at as well and ran with it. Now, the TSK part is my initials, when I made the website and my brand over the years, I have realized that TSK can mean something else, but gave up and stuck with it. If you want to use your initials and place Jesus Freak behind it go for it. I encourage people to be a little more up front with their Christianity when giving out their personal information, especially when they are actual Jesus Freaks. You can create a Jesus oriented email very easily. Just use what ever email server that you like and go with it. Now, in terms of evangelism, there are different ways to evangelize. Like what I mention above, I plan on to invite unsaved people to my apartment that I know in my life and have an evening meal. That is one way. Another way is to do street preaching, I'm not gifted in street preaching, I rather take someone out or invite them to a meal in a more relaxed environment. Evangelism doesn't need to be complicated, it can be as simple as "Ha do you want to go to x event?" The event can be whatever, but it would be a good idea to bring them to a Christian oriented event, maybe not church but like a concert. We need more Jesus Freaks in this world. We can't create Jesus Freaks only the Holy Spirit can convict a person's sin and cause them to repent and follow Jesus and become Jesus Freaks. Next important topic: The need for Expository Preaching. The need for Expository preaching is critical. There are places all over the globe where the Prosperity Gospel is preached, where Jesus plus your previous god's or religious customs that gets integrated with True Christianity. The problem that I have with all of this, is that the western nations, mostly the USA, have been doing missions in a water down way. It needs to be Jesus Alone, I fell into this trap with the issue of Voluntaryism. Sure Voluntary interactions is a great thing to strive for but by itself, is meaningless, because the person is still a sinful person. It doesn't fix the person's sinful hearth. Only the Trinity can fix a person's sinful heart. Sure, I might have some issues with particular expository preachers in this nation but at the end of the day, I will take an expository preacher because he plainly speaks Scripture to sinful people like myself. Brazil: Brazil might be a power house, in the next several decades. I'm going to touch on this a little bit, but the country effectively went towards more freedom, which is my personal belief that if a society is more free, the wealthier a society will become. I know that many socialists in the United States looks towards European Socialism, which it does have some elements of socialism but it has just enough Capitalism just to make it survivable. Socialism is everywhere and Capitalism is everywhere. No country is purely a Capitalist society or a Socialistic society. I prefer a Capitalistic society any day, because of the simple reason I can control more of my own resources for the Gospel. Instead of giving it to the state, I prefer to use those resources for the Gospel. That is just my own personal opinion. This particular opinion is only a favorite color opinion. Why? Jesus will take care of me. I don't have to worry about the particular policies of the state or for that matter anything at all. I have my place in Jesus. That is where my home and hope is in, Jesus Alone. There are many good Christians that have different viewpoints on the issue of politics and philosophy. Which I have to stress for my own sake it is just my favorite color. That is it. (1) When I see a news article that is warning about particular products and concerns about particular brands that has traces of x substance that might lead to bad health effects, I shrug, and move on. Why? One of the same reasons why I dump Voluntaryism as a label of mine. If Jesus wants me to die from some particular product that might have traces of x substance, then so be it. I don't really care. Now, if the product has some kind of tainted substance, like the Peter Pan peanut butter a few years ago had, that is obvious that I would throw it away because everyone is warning about it because it might make one sick and die. I prefer to die for Jesus directly and more blatantly, like the marters of the faith, that had to suffer for Jesus. That is the most glorious death of all deaths of a Christian, dying for Jesus. Being physically, and emotionally troubled for the sake of the Gospel, is a honor. If one isn't willing to have their head chopped off or guts spilled for Jesus, should walk away. Now, I'm not saying one should be looking for trouble and avoid trouble as much as a person can. But when it comes to the Gospel, and someone pulls a gun to a believers head, and said "Deny Jesus and live" they better not deny Jesus because they will live with Jesus eternally. They will die twice, instead of dying once. Jesus Freaks will only have to die once, not twice. (2) In a recent blog post by Ken Ham of Answers In Genesis, had a post about the United Kingdom suppressing research about transgender. The narrative is if you go against anything that might indicate that you are anti-transgender, you will get axed. And at that point, one might just say screw it, I'm going full blown Young Earth Creationist, Bible Thumping Jesus Freak. The same thing with the Walk Away movement. People have been harassed from talking a little bit about the unfairness of the treatment of President Trump. People are saying "screw it, if I can't be a Democrat because I might think slightly differently than other Democrats about some issues, I might as well go full blown Trump supporter." The Democrats and the Evolutionists are killing themselves to a great degree that, one has to believe every doctrine of Evolution or Democrat. (3) Being a Young Earth Creationist does matter: If one just looks at the Bible plainly and simply, one would get an idea that the Universe was created in six literal days, according to the Bible. And if they did the time line analysis, the universe can not be more than 10,000 years old, yes I'm talking about the Universe not exclusively the Earth, the Mormons can believe in a young earth model with a old universe model, that is why I clarify that I'm talking about the Universe. I'm using the 10,000 year old as an absolute cut off line. It is most likely not more than 8,000 years old. Yes, I take this stance because logically speaking if one can't hold onto the first couple of chapters of the Bible, then that means eventually down the line, after generations we get to Jesus and they only have what Jesus says, as known as the red letter Christianity. Even though just by looking at Jesus' own words, refers to Scripture, at His time the Old Testament. Now, we have both the Old and New Testament. One can either take it or leave it. I prefer to just take it and if I have a problem with it, it is on me not on the Word of God. Yes, one can believe in the Old Earth model of the Universe and still be an authentic follower of Jesus, aka a Jesus Freak. But they are putting themselves into a aquard position, when dealing with evolutionists. A lot of mid and high level evolutionists, rather deal with young earth creationists than old earth creationists. Why? They laugh at those who compromise. They respect those who don't compromise on the Word of God. They studied enough of the Bible to know what they are dealing with. And they say, why stop at Genesis but keep going all the way down to Jesus. This is one of the reasons why the American Church has to deal with the issue of "New Perspective of Paul." The liberal Christianity doesn't like anything that deals with the Truth at the end of the day. It boils down to the Five Solas, which in English, are Faith Alone, Scripture Alone, Christ Alone, Grace Alone and God Alone. The Pastor of Immanuel Bible Church of Springfield, VA. Did a good sermon series of the Five Solas. (4) (5) Sad Story Alert: Here is a sad story about an Ohio Mega Church Pastor having an affair with multiple women. He still tries to claim to be an ethnic believer in Jesus. He has been with multiple women over the years and this makes Tiger Woods look good, just because Tiger Woods didn't claim Jesus as his Lord and Savior. This pastor needs some serious counseling and need to be not in the lime light for a long time and in my opinion can never be a pastor or an elder for the rest of his life. He needs to go to a small church somewhere explain his situation and agree that he can never serve in a leadership position. This type of thing goes on and is still going on within all of these mega church style of churches. I'm not saying that mega churches aren't Biblical. There are some really great mega churches out there that preach the Word of God and stand for the Truth of Scripture. This is why we need expository preaching. Not this over hyped emotionalism that is being preached or water down messages. Just plainly explain the Scripture and let the pieces fall where they are. And another thing, to point out, if you are married don't ever be around the opposite sex for no more than 15 minutes, unless that person is your spouse. There is a person who I know of, that has other people living at his house and they are doing life together. I was thinking, that is an affair waiting to happen... That is why, if Jesus gives me a wife, I can not out of good conscience having a non family member living under my temporary home, where ever that is. That is why most of the Reformed minded guys never leave without their wives. The whole Vice President Pence model of makes more and more since. I use to believe that a husband or wife can hang out with the opposite sex but when some of the Reformed guys explain why they bring their wives every where, I understand. Or if they can't bring their wives everywhere, they have a trusted brother in Christ to go with them. If you are sister in Christ, either bring your husband or a trusted sister in Christ. Like wise if you are a brother in Christ either bring your wife or a trusted brother in Christ, along. It is worth the extra plan ticket and the extra bed option of a hotel room. (6) Investment News: IBM has began taking over a company named Red Hat. IBM an old dog, in the tech space is in the process of buying Red Hat, a software company that was founded in 1993, compared to IBM a 1911 company. According to Wikipedia. One of my biggest beefs with companies taking over other companies in mergers and acquisitions is that there is a culture mix. And many times when a smaller company gets bought out not from one owner to another but a merger or acquisition, it gets demoralized for the smaller company. This is why I dislike mergers and acquisitions because a lot of cases there is not that much synergy between the companies. It can work but I'm sure that there are plenty of people in Red Hat, are going to jump ship entirely or if people are thinking about retiring in a few years, might jump ship now. I know McDonald's had for a while had some major investments in Chipotle but they kept it separate. One of the things that McDonald's was trying to do was make Chipotle more like McDonald's. McDonald's has a franchise model and Chipotle has more of a corporate model. Plus just look at the staff between McDonald's and Chipotle. They are vastly different cultures. In the Business Insider article, they cut ties with each other. The vision of Chipotle from McDonald's is vastly different than Chipotle's vision of itself. Would Chipotle become a hybrid of McDonald's most likely not, they would have kept both seperate business. It did help Chipotle out in terms of its success, because McDonald's supply chain is amazing and one of the top tiers in terms of supply chain management. When ever there is a merger takes place, I run to the hills. If there is an aquisition that is taking place by a Public Company taking over another Public Company, I run to the hills. Now, if the public company buys out a private company, I don't mind it as much, but I'm skeptical of the whole move. How I invest my money is through dividend oriented stocks that pay a monthly dividend. It is that simple. I kept it simple so that I don't have to worry about it. (7) (8) (9) (10) Back to Religious News: OK, I'm getting aggravated about all the President Trump Kissing going on within the Church these days. The guy is on his third or fourth marriage, and no his previous wives didn't die, they are for the most part alive and well or at least alive. They got divorced for what ever reason. And all these Christian Trump Kissers are making it hard to preach the Gospel to people. The reason why I'm talking about this is because I ran into YouTube videos about how President Trump is so wonderful and Former President Obama is horrible. I thought Christians are suppose to follow the Bible. I don't get it. This is one of the reasons why I'm so glad that I dump politics all together and just focus on Jesus Alone, in my life. It is so much simpler and easier. I don't have to worry about a thing. Jesus will take care of me. I had to comment on some of these videos about just Focus on Jesus Alone and not man. Another thing that I ran into on YouTube, is the whole notion of dreaming equals prophetic mysticism. No, my dreams that I have at night (or in my case mornings/afternoons, I work overnights at my job), means nothing, except if I dream about water then I need to use the restroom. Besides that, dreams are nothing. Sure I do enjoy dreams as a dream because I view them as a movie and I want to see what goes on next. People come up with some weird conclusions about their dreams. And of course, I do day dream about Expository preaching to be the norm of the church and not all this fluff going on in the church (at best). At worse, it is the NAR and overly mysticism stuff that has Jesus slapped on it. Expository Preaching would solve a lot of issues within the Church. If preachers just preach the Word of God as is, we wouldn't have so many scandals and water down messages. If one wants to hear God's voice, all one would have to do is pull out the Bible and start reading it aloud. Most speaking in tongues today is meaningless. There was a guy who stood up in a congregation that endorses speaking in tongues and he recited a passage of scripture in Hebrew and the interpreter was way off. This is one of the reasons why I'm a censsationist not a countinist. All you need is the Word of God. John MacArthur did a good book called "Strange Fire" on Grace to You Website there is a page dedicated to all the materials of all things Strange Fire. The conference and the book.
