Subjects - T-Mobile & Sprint Merger, Internet Security VPN, Moving out West
T-Mobile & Sprint Merger: T-Mobile (my carrier) is merging with Sprint. My first thought was all great there goes T-Mobile. At least I don't have any money in either because I would be incline to sell off my shares if I own some shares. I did flirted with the idea of owning some shares in either company before I had an actual strategy of investing (which is monthly dividend stocks). I hope that the "poopyness" of Sprint dies off (aka the lack of good customer service). T-Mobile has a strong hold on customer service. That is one of the reasons why I switched from Sprint to T-Mobile. Internet Security VPN: I up my internet security over the past few days. I'm a little paranoid with the government spying on my internet data. I know that they will get a lot of it but that is why I ditched gmail as my primary email and use Protonmail as my primary. Now since I use Android, I can't fully ditch my Google Account for good, but I have made steps in the right direction to pull my data off of the NSA spying, the best that I can. I use a VPN (Virtual Private Network), that is based outside of the United States. It is a Switzerland based company, because it is based in Switzerland the laws are very pro privacy. I don't mind companies mining my data but I do have a problem with government either buying that data or the companies selling or giving that data over to the government. The VPN isn't by Protonmail because Protonmail's VPN isn't as good as the other one that I use because I'm a bit lazy with the amount of work. Now, my VPN app on my phone does suck my batter dry, but I guess that is the cost of internet security. I bring my phone charger everywhere I go with my cell phone. Moving out West: (Technically) I'm thinking about moving out west further out into the country due to the cost of living out there is about half, without having a room mate. If I do move closer to the Twin Cities, I would want a room mate. I want to live as cheaply as possible and funnel money into my brokerage account. Once I'm able to pay my bills through my brokerage account, I would be financially free. Thank you for reading "My thoughts of the day" I hope that you have a blessed day! - In Christ Alone!
