Politics is a waste of time!

Politics is a waste of time!  Here is why.  If one is making even $10/hour for 40 hours a week (the more one makes the value gets less and less), is it really worth putting any effort into politics except for purely entertaining purposes?  I don't think so.  For every hour that one spends worrying and studying politics they can learn a skill or work more hours (if they can).  The only way that ones that make money studying politics are those who create political content for a living.  I have dedicated too much time to politics when I was a libertarian (2008 - 2016), thinking I can change the USA and the world through political means.  It is a waste of time.  Learn a skill, is a far better way to go about one's day than consuming political commentary.  There are many ways to learn different things.  I still listen to politics but it is more like 10% politics and 90% entertainments, it use to be 90% politics and 10% entertainment.  I need to know enough to what is going on in the world but that is it.  No more than 10%.  Statism is a religion that is accepted by 99% of people around the world.  It is a wasteful, evil and destructive religion.  Most other religions and religious viewpoints accommodate for statism.  Even Christianity.  I will only consume enough politics to know what is going on in the world, to see if I need to do anything or not.  Most of the time I don't need to do anything different but I would like to get a heads up of what is going on in the world so that I can plan out my life.  I fine value in iJustine and Linus technology YouTube Channels.  It is better to be aware of technology and what is coming up so that I can make an informed decision when it comes to buying a computer or smartphone.  I don't plan on buying either a computer or smartphone until 2020.  So, politics is a waste of time unless you get entertainment value to consuming political commentary.  That being said, thanks for reading!
