The Creationist Museum is “Failing” but the whole notion that the organization isn’t failing because Answers In Genesis is an apologetic organization. Its goal is to bring answers to that are found in the Bible and bring an argumentation for the Bible. The reason why it might seem like it is failing is because its numbers might be smaller over the last few years. The Young Turks (TYT) had a video about Answers In Genesis. Answers In Genesis will not survive in the long term because the earth will continue to become more and more sinful until Christ return on that point TYT is right when they say that it won’t survive. TYT has an agenda, like everyone else. Their agenda is to have control over the lives of others. They are a leftist news/commentary organization, and leftists wants to have control over other people’s lives. I’m fine with leftists wanting to control other people as long as it is voluntary. If the leftists wants to make leftist area where the founders buy their own land through voluntary means and create a system where they live by leftist principles, I have no problem with that. I do have a problem with leftists (in general) when they want to control my life. They want to make sure the child receive a “proper” education. This is their main argumentation that they are pointing out to the audience in this particular video. The left wants to control people’s children. They know that if they can get the children as soon as possible they will eventually win in terms of controlling society. The left is held bent at controlling everyone that doesn’t agree with them. The main reason why leftists ideologies have failed is because it isn’t voluntary. They must use force to bring about their version of society. Now, I’m going to go after the right on this one too. Some on the right want to have control over other people, this might be indirect and may not be seen right away. The right is really good at pointing the fallacy of the left but fails to look at its own fallacy. The fallacy of any political thought is one that wants to control other people. The only exception that one might bring about is the libertarians, and I’m within the broad camp of libertarianism. Most libertarians now are just more or less moderates. The libertarian party in particular are now more or less run by moderates. If I had to choose to live in a libertarian control government or the right or leftist version of government I would like to live in a libertarian control government any day. What attracted me to the Libertarian party was its statement of principles and they don’t really live up to the statement of principles. On paper I tend to agree with them and getting government out of one’s life, both in the social and in terms of one’s wallet. The main problem I have with the Libertarian Party is fundamentally it is flawed. They want to control other people in order to release control over the individual. Practically speaking, people who get into politics wants to have a degree of control over other people. That is the nature of government. Government wants to control other people. Otherwise it isn’t government. This is why I personally subscribe as a “Voluntaryist.” Being a Voluntaryist doesn’t mean I agree with other voluntaryists on other issues, it just simply means I don’t use force on other people. That is why I can’t vote or participate in politicking. The Biblical argument here that I bring is the simple notion that I can’t steal or murder. Government in its very nature does those two things. I can’t participate in stealing or murdering other people. Most governments have slowly gone away from murdering people but yet they keep stealing people’s resources for the “collective.” While I can’t participate in government, I must however live under rulers, because I’m a Christian. This makes my position different from other voluntaryists. Many voluntaryists argue against authority, but it breaks down very quickly when property rights gets to be discussed. The one who justly acquired property gets to rule over the property on how he/she sees fit. This is why I break it down to the three fundamentals of “Libertarianism” or what I’m advocating is “Voluntaryism” which are Self-Ownership, Property and Contract Rights. Self-Ownership means that the individual has ownership over him/herself and no other human can make claim to his/her body. Property Rights means that justly acquired property through voluntary means is own by the individual and no one else has the right to take over or mandate things to his/her property as long as he/she doesn’t infringe on another individual’s property rights. Contract Rights means that one can make agreements with other individuals through voluntary means. These three rights only pertain to human to human relationships. I must emphasize this point because I have subscribed to the Reformed Doctrines mainly Calvinism and on a religious standpoint, God owns everything. Back to the contents of the video. This is why I have major disagreements with the left wing and the right wing of politics and fundamentally disagree with the Libertarian Party on the “how” to bring about a free and prosperous society. That is my “rant” and very skewed and slanted blog post towards voluntaryism and the reformed theology of the reformation (mainly from John Calvin).
