Voluntaryism is a simple notion that all human interactions should be voluntary. It is rooted in Self-Ownership and the Non-Aggression-Principle (NAP). Voluntaryism in its definition that I just described is a philosophy that is compatible to Biblical Doctrine. Here is why. Voluntaryism is a point of view that all human interactions need to be voluntary. Thou Shalt Not Murder and Steal means Thou Shalt Not Murder and Steal. This is my main argument for Voluntaryism. If we humans are to truly hold to Biblical principles towards other humans beings, then voluntaryism is the only option for a Biblical society. Now, granted we do live in a fallen world, and no human was perfect accept for Jesus Christ. The argumentation for government is to punish the wicked of society, but as a Christian, we can't punish the wicked of society only God is allowed to punish His creatures. That is why we all have a 100% death rate. Now, how can a person pursue the voluntary and Biblical lifestyle? We can't understand fully because of two things one is man's sinfulness, and the other is the acceptance of force mainly through the state. The state by definition is the institution that uses force upon other individuals. The state is different from an association (example Home Owner's Associations). These Associations rely on contracts and a "duel" ownership contract, where the owner is restricted in his/her ownership of the particular house that he/she bought. Some times Associations are good, and some are bad, but in either case, they are voluntary. Now, lets get into examples of how voluntaryism has worked and I believe will work much better than a system of governance than a state doing the governing. One of the best examples of a voluntaryist example is in the form of a city, name Walt Disney World. When Walt Disney built the theme park, they had to basically build a city from scratch because the county didn't have enough resources at the time to help in such a project. Disney World had to build and maintain their own roads and utilities, provide fire and security to the theme park, they were able to do it through voluntary means. There are other examples where voluntaryism/libertarianism has worked in society. The problem is the state has too much power over the land of the earth. No matter what piece of land there is there is a state that has a monopoly of force. Voluntaryism is the best movement to go up against the state. Holding to Voluntary Principles, one can't force his/her will upon others. This is one the reasons why I choose to be a "Christ Center Voluntaryist." I use the "Libertarian" for a broad definition of Voluntaryism. I do differ upon many other voluntaryists out there because of Christian Doctrine, many of the voluntaryists are anti-authoritarian, which I can't because of the issue that God owns the universe and His sovereignty will win. This is where I stand, and I will not be pursuing any political office even if I do "run" for office I will mainly do it for the cause of a Christ Center Voluntaryism. I have always thought that the best way to pursue freedom from government is to take over the government, but the best way to pursue a Voluntaryist world is through voluntary means. It is hypocritical to say that we should go for a freedom-oriented society but use aggression to be a free society.
